What is it?: Our surgical CO2 laser uses a highly
focused laser beam and lets us perform most surgeries
without the use of a scalpel blade. We use the CO2
laser for pretty much all our surgical procedures due to
it’s benefits. All spay, neuter, and declaw packages
come standard with laser surgery. There are many
applications for laser surgery, such as stomatitis,
growth removal (small growths can be zapped away
easily without the need to cut), and many other
conditions.
There are many benefits of laser surgery:
Less bleeding: The laser also cauterizes as it cuts,
which seals small blood vessels.
Less pain: The laser beam seals off nerve endings,
resulting in less pain for a far more comfortable post-
operative recovery.
Reduced risk of infection: The CO2 laser beam
efficiently kills bacteria in its path, producing a
sterilization effect, in addition to the sterile techniques
already used by the surgeon and technicians.
Quicker recovery time: With reduced bleeding, risk on
infection, less pain and less swelling, your pet with have
a for quicker recovery after surgery.
